Born in July 16, 1964, Phil Hellmuth Jr. is a living legend of poker with 11 World Series of Poker Bracelet wins. Hellmuth set a record for both most World Series cashes (68) and the most final tables (41). While only 24 years-old, in 1989, Phil Hellmuth became the youngest person ever to win the World Series of Poker Main Event by defeating two time defending champion Johnny Chan.
Phill kept his record as the youngest champion for 19 years . In 1993, Hellmuth set another record by winning 3 bracelets in a single year and also a 2nd place finish. He is a member of the Poker Hall of Fame (Created as a tourist attraction in 1979 by Benny Binion the owner of the Horseshoe Casino no longer has a physical location, it only exists now on paper and contains major poker names as Doyle Brunson, Phil Ivey, Tom McEvoy, Dan Harrington, Daniel Negreanu and many other pros.). In 2009, his overall live tournament winning exceed $10,500,000 and he is ranked fourth on the All Time Money List, behind Phil Ivey, Jamie Gold and Daniel Negreanu.

An autobiography and a screenplay based on Phill`s live story are planned Hellmuth has interests in an online poker website and is working with Oakley to develop his own line of poker-style sunglasses, is planning the launch of a clothing line and has several endorsement deals on the go as well.
He wants to be known as the greatest poker player of all time. In his own mind, he is already almost there.
